Available on digital / vinyl from December 29th

Returning with his first Dream Catalogue release since last year’s SOUND_TRACK, R23X is back with his most focused and fully realised album to date, VELTAHL, on December 29th.

VELTAHL is the result of years spent refining a certain sound – one which can only be called the ‘R23X style’ at this point. This mastery of audio manipulation leads to a flowing 20-track symphony featuring R23X’s characteristic VHS atmospherics, video game noises, glitched out percussion and mindbending sound experiments. This music is shy of neither experimentalism nor melodic beauty, and it makes for what must be considered R23X’s greatest album yet.

Featuring collaborations from vocalist Devora Shavinski and top Dream Catalogue essential artist Vaperror, this album drops December 29th on turquoise wax – a run of 500 vinyl to close out the year for Dream Catalogue. Be sure not to finalise your end of year best-of lists just yet.

Available on vinyl from tomorrow, December 15th

One of the most prominent releases on Dream Catalogue since the label’s inception has come from our founder and guru, HKE, with his ambient masterpiece HK.

Originally released in January 2015, HK can be considered something of a counterpart to 2814’s Birth of a New Day album; the artist recorded it while working on the 2814 project, and likewise, it explores similar themes of late night romance, visions of the future and the natural beauty of life through its lush, dream-like tones.

But there was always a glaring omission. The album, originally slated for a CD release but held back at the time, has never been issued in physical format before – until now. HK has been our most requested album to release on a physical format since we dropped Birth Of A New Day on wax at the start of this year, and we are very happy to announce that this album will now finally get the physical release it deserves.

From tomorrow, HKE’s HK will be available on a futuristic-looking semi-translucent blue vinyl with a run of 1000 copies. It has been a long time coming and we think it has been worth the wait.
